I spoke briefly on "hookup culture" today on Instagram and I wanted to elaborate a bit on why I have a visceral distaste and revulsion for hookup culture despite it being the alleged go to "in thing" these days.

Respect is THE #1 currency that's missing in today's relationships. Approval-seeking behavior rather than seeking respect from the other person is now a permanent fixture in the dating and relationship climate.

Take a look around you. Standards are extremely low, and the number of people trying to find love in the modern dating marketplace is high and keeps growing exponentially.
