There's a smorgasbord of advice out there on how to talk to women and approach them in an effort to keep their attention. "Just be yourself" is considered a fatal mistake and a bad approach overall, but I would argue that being yourself is necessary for a man in terms of listening closely to his instincts rather than trying to be something or someone he is not.
Your instincts as a man never lie, so you must listen to them. Quit trying to be a polite yes man, quit trying to be her friend and quit trying to get her to give you the green light to take it up a notch. You need to pass go, collect your $200 and head straight for the boardwalk.
